Does the indoor bug zapper need to be plugged in or rechargeable? The indoor bug zapper needs to be plugged in with a US 2-pin plug, with an input voltage of 110V/60Hz AC. It operates solely on AC power and is not battery-operated.

What pests can the bug zapper kill? The bug zapper will zap any flying insect attracted to UV light, such as flies, fruit flies, mosquitoes, wasps, gnats, and moths.

How can I tell if the black bulb is working since it's invisible? The black UV light spectrum is largely invisible to the human eye, only partially visible in complete darkness. You can check if it's working by using the UV test card included in the box.

Is the fly killer much quieter? Yes, we've compared the zapping noise to other bug zappers and it's 50% quieter. This makes it more child and pet-friendly, and better for your sleep.

How long will the bulbs last? The bulbs usually last at least 6 months, depending on usage. We recommend changing the bulb every 6 months for maximum performance. Two extra replacement bulbs are included in the mosquito zapper box.

Can the fly trap be used outside? The fly trap is designed for indoor use, like in bedrooms or kitchens. If you need to use it outdoors, such as in a garden, balcony, or patio, please ensure it doesn't get wet.
